Full list of documents for family reunification in Italy

– Applicant’s passport.

– A copy of the applicant’s residence permit. The total duration of the residence permit must be at least one year. It is possible to submit the request even if you have a receipt for renewal or extension of your residence permit.

– Passport of a family member

– Documentation to verify income:

(a) Employed staff:

-The last tax return,

A photocopy of the employment contract,
Last salary (statement) or certified photocopy of pay slip,
an autocertificate from the employer, prepared according to the S3 model, which shows the current status of the employment relationship. If the employment relationship started less than one year ago and the employee is unable to submit a tax return, the employer’s autocertification must contain the amount of the employee’s expected annual income.

b) Domestic workers:

Latest income tax return (if available), (or, if not available, notification of employment to the Job Centre / INPS),
INPS contribution bulletin for the quarter preceding the date of application,
The employer’s statement autocertifies under the “S3” model, from which the current working employment relationship is derived.

c) Self-employed workers (lavoro autonomo).

Individual Entrepreneur:

Certificate of registration with the Chamber of Commerce,
Photocopy of the VAT number assignment,
Photocopy of municipal licence, if available.
A tax report for the year (if the business was started more than a year ago) or an accounting report prepared by an accountant for the entire working period (if the business was started less than a year ago). company:
Registration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
A photocopy of the company’s VAT number,
The company’s tax YEARLY report (if the business was started more than a year ago) or an accounting report prepared by an accountant for the entire business period (if the business was started less than a year ago).

Project Collaboration.

A photocopy of the contract for the design works indicating the duration of the works,
A declaration indicating the current status of the contract for the project works,
Separate declaration of payment to INPS.
Photocopy of the annual tax report.

Founder of the co-operative.

Registration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the co-operative,
A photocopy of the co-operative’s VAT number,
Declaration by the president of the co-operative indicating the current status of labour relations,
A photocopy of the register of shareholders,
Annual Tax Report.

Free Professionals:

– registration in the professional register,

– Annual Tax Report.

Documents confirming the availability of housing

(a) A copy of the rental agreement, free loan agreement or certificate of ownership of housing;

b) Housing suitability and sanitation certification, i.e. a municipal certificate certifying that the housing meets the parameters established by law and complies with sanitation standards;

(c) If the applicant resides in a hostel: a certified declaration from the owner of the accommodation certifying his consent to the reunification of the family members of the foreign visitor named with reference to the part of the accommodation provided to the worker (Model S2);

(d) In the case of reunification with a child under 14 years of age, whether or not the child follows only one parent, habitability may be replaced by the consent of the owner of the dwelling in which the child will actually reside (Model S1) ,

e) the full address and details of the applicant’s place of residence and the place of residence of a family member (if different);

Mark 14.62 euros. Family status papers:
proof of family relations with the family members with whom you wish to be reunited – this is the second phase of verification. This certification must be translated, legalised and validated by the Italian consular authority of the foreigner’s country of residence and/or origin;

– Certificate of family status in the case of reunification in favour of a spouse, to demonstrate that there is no other spouse in the territory;

Marriage certificate of the parent in case of reunification with the latter to verify the possible presence of the spouse in the national territory and the absence of a marital relationship;
